On Friday, Nov. 3, two mini vans with about 20 people drove along the road bordering the Oaxaca Autonomous University. They stopped and two men got out shooting at the building that houses Radio Universidad, the key organizing tool for the Oaxaca Peoples Popular Assembly (APPO). Students found 17 shells on the street and three bullet holes on the roof, two through a light and one through a satellite dish. No one was injured.

Protesters maintained control of the barricades surrounding the university throughout the day. Rumors constantly run the another Federal Preventive Police operation is imminent.
