Issue 104: Global Warming, What No One Else Will Say

By The Indypendent Staff

After years of denials and disclaimers, almost everyone (even President George W. Bush) now agrees that human-caused global warming is a major problem and that we need to develop solutions. But can the capitalist system that created the problem solve it? Can the media that fumbled the story for so long tell us what we really need to know? It’s time to connect the dots, and take action while there is still time.

Not a problem of a particular economic system

Gordon

This is because China has just surpassed the US to be the biggest carbon emitter on the planet. The same China that is self-declared to not be capitalist. It's a population/use issue, it has little to do with the economic system those people who use carbon-emitting resources live under.
