New Yorkers Protest Israeli Attack on Aid Boat

The world is united in condemning Israeli military aggression.

Signs reading “US Dollars out of Israel” and “Save Humanity, Boycott Israel” reflected the sentiment of demonstrators.

Around 2,000 people gathered in Times Square today for an emergency demonstration to protest the attack launched by the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) on an unarmed flotilla of humanitarian aid ships that were headed to Gaza. Reports indicate that the IDF attack left 19 activists dead and dozens more wounded. The emotional toll of the loss of life was evident in a crowd that represented much of the left-wing in New York City and significant portions of young activists of Middle Eastern origin.
