Hadas Thier, one of three City College students arrested on Wednesday, March 9 for peacefully protesting the presence of military recruiters at a City College career fair, was informed on Friday, March 11 that she was suspended from the university for posing a continuing danger and banned from setting foot on campus. Hospital records from Mt. Sinai show that Nick Bergreen and Justino Rodriguez, the other students arrested on Wednesday, suffered multiple contusions and postconcussion syndrome. Among the charges they are faced with is assaulting an officer.
As well, Carol Lang, a CCNY staff member, was also arrested in connection with Wednesday’'s protest and charged with assault. A picket in defense of free speech in front of the administration building is planned for Thursday, March 17 at 12: 30 P.M.
