Critical mass rocks NYC

Some of the great stuff I saw on this critical mass: lots of numbers, families biking together people finding creative ways to put more than one person on a bike, people on the streets and in cars who were excited to see us, wheelchairs joining the ride, awesome costumed folks, and getting to bike by Madison Square Garden. There were thousands of folks, and it was awesome all the way untill the cops started bullying everyone. CMass in Houston today was around 10 people today, this was an amazing sight and expirience.

Thanks for the great pix. I've been stuck at work but enjoyed "following along with the ride" by reading the ongoing coverage on Indy. Your pictures complete the experience. As a rehab nurse, I especially enjoyed the picture of the person in the power wheelchair who joined the ride.

Despite the arrests, this CM was a smashing success! Props to all who participated.

The guy riding at the very front, the very first guy, was a real dick. He was screaming, really aggressively, "FUCK BUSH" at people on the sidewalk. It set a pretty obnoxious tone for the event.

For an european itÂ´s rather easy to draw that conclusion that the only tactic your leaders/politicians in America can muster up and figure out to make you vote for them and care for anything else than yourselves is to scare the pants of you with hilarious stories about muslims or anarchists.
