QueerFist Times Square Kiss In Photos

The group Queer Fist! held a kiss-in today in Time Square, making out in front of the theaters where the delegates of the Republican National Convention were watching Broadway plays. The kiss-in was ended when the cops boxed in the group as they were walking down the sidewalk, mass arresting them.

Yo I hear 2 Kids from Maine were arested with this group of rad kids. Does anyone know about this? They are friends of mine. Has anyone from this group been prosessed/released yet as of 8/30 7am?
I am really interested to see what the charges will be. Disorderly kissing? Unlaufully being cool? Groping without a permit?

I saw it all go down, it was stupidity at it's worst. Almost felt like they were arresting them to justify the massive overtime costs. They were doing NOTHING but walking around the corner and the scooters boxed them in w/ barricades already waiting for them. Although the day was wonderfully peaceful, this coming at the end as it did, reminded me why I was there in the first place.
