August 29—Approximately 300 people participated in a Student and Youth Feeder march at Columbus Circle in Central Park. At the 10:00am meeting time only about 25 people were on hand, most of whom were trying to sell each other newspapers from competing socialist sects. By the 11:00 departure the crowd had grown to approximately 350 people. The march took the streets at the corner of Fifth and Grand Army Plaza.
