This march was spirited and determined to make change. Groups representing some of NYC's best community organizing brought everyday heroes to the doorstep of the RNC to testify that despite hardship and racist/sexist/anti-gay state policy, still we rise. In the scorching heat there were at least four full blocks of folks on eigth avenue at MSG. March marshalls kept the media away from the front banner, and the 'undercover' scooter squad from swallowing the back of the march. http://www.peterholderness.com
