cos bush supporters know damn well they got nothing to offer, so all they can do is attack the record of a man who did the right thing when he returned from the Vietnam War. And -- as Mr. Lying Burkett knows full well -- there are PLENTY of Vietnam Vets who support his actions, then and now.

To be sure, there are many who resent his actions too. America has yet to recover from the Vietnam war.

He is not much better than Bush. I say, anyone but Bush or Kerry.

Kerry is the ultimate betrayer, betraying a different trust every day. He is just as prowar as Bush, but less predictable. After all, how can you tell which way the wind is going to blow a few days from now?

The pictures a fake too. Easy for anyone to spot whose looked at it for more than 2 seconds.

Hey...one of the best ways to support the arrestees is to go down to 100 Center Street and VOLUNTEER to be a greeter outside the building or an escort inside the building for those who've just been released. Hey CH, I don't really care if you're going to use your vote to support a 3rd-party candidacy. There will be plenty of others who will do the job of voting to remove bush from the whitehouse, if you won't. Just remember that the rightwing is about to demonize Kerry for one of the few unquestionably honorable things he's done in his life: taking a serious outspoken stand against a stupid optional war in 1971. When the next round of attack ads go out against John Kerry, they'll be smearing every single vet who marched for peace and demanded an end to the atrocities right along with him.

In 1971, I'd bet most of the radicals on indymedia would have been happy to work with John Kerry to stop the Vietnam war. If he's truly failed us since then, we need to consider whether that failure was a personal or systemic one, or both.
