oh, and was the World Bank mentioned at this rally? Is the World Bank (or IMF, etc) ever mentioned at ANY anti-war protest? If not, um...we better start because the World Bank is the same enemy that would gleefully perpetuate the Iraq war, and beyond. The dots better be connected before it's too late...

The Harlem rally was a great success: very energizing and political. It was amazing to be in a crowd of thousands of people from all over New York under the banner Troops Out Now--not just vague opposition to the occupation. I talked to many people (of all races) about the connections between repression at home, racism, the occupation, and the goals of corporate America--the same in Harlem and Bagdad.

unfourinatally is it the same regurgated repeated message that is spoken to redundancy lacking creativity and any though of change in tactics or organizing when the times and the news changes... will always be glad to see people out but no one seems to realize the numbres and the power of the voices is geting lower and lower even if most of the country now is against the war and thinks it was mismannaged...
