If you believe that not being involved in any illegality will spare you an investigation by the Secret Service you are naive. In 1994 I was "investigated" for a letter I wrote to the editor of "The Daily Mining Gazette" in Houghton, Michigan in which I praised the Zapatista rebellion in Mexico. Supposedly because of this letter, which the editor claimed (but it in no way did) threatened the lives of Presidents Clinton and Salinas, I was "investigated" by the Secret Service, particularly its agent William Albracht and his supervisor Jack Fox. The Secret Service never made any attempt to find the letter that the investigation was supposedly all about and indeed Dick Grossenbacher admitted from the outset that the Secret Service was not going to arrest me, which is tantamount to an admission that it was a malicious prosecution. Even though they thus essentially admitted that I hadn't committed any crime (and it is difficult to understand it as other than a politically-motivated persecution) they illegally used a grand jury to subpoena (a subpoena I tore up in front of the livid Albracht) handwriting samples, a photograph and fingerprints.

Those who STILL fail to understand the Secret Service as what they are, a secret, political police operating outside the law, will not be properly equipped to deal with them. Though I am convinced CounterConvention.org is taking the right action it should by no means be convinced that lawful action will insulate it from SS harassment and illegal activity.
