For years the leadership of the union movement hs been drifting as
worker organizations have decline in both size and influence. We
look at what left with the labor movement - what works and may
provide lessons for the future and the failure of the "movement" to
take up class based issues and to mobilize the ranks. We also
include groups which have undertaken exciting new efforts to
organize outside of the traditonal structure of labor often with
close ties to the community.
