GIANT GRAVEYARD ERECTED OUTSIDE UNITED NATIONS ON EVE OF WORLD SUMMIT

What: One hundred twenty mock gravestones will be erected in the ground to
create a giant graveyard, with the words: "Never Again" written on them in
red.

Two genocide survivors will speak then be joined by other survivors to
walk through the graveyard looking at the tombstones, and holding signs of
the numbers killed in their countries as a crowd looks on.

Where: The Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza - 1st Ave/E45 St, across from UN building

When: 10am Tuesday 13th September

Why: The world said "never again" after the Rwandan genocide yet more than
a decade later, a key measure to protect civilians from mass killings on
the agenda for agreement at the UN Summit is in danger of failing to be
agreed due to a small number of countries refusing to support the measure.
