If you can bear to read 100 or pages of legal reasoning (or lack thereof) and care about civil liberties in the United States, spend some time reading the (to me) disappointing decision of US Judge John Gleeson of the Eastern District of New York. In a ruling on a challenge to the post 9-11 round-ups of Arabs and Moslems brought by the NYC based Center for Constituional Rights, Gleeson appears to have endorsed as lawful no-probable-cause race or nationality based detention of non-citizens for as long a the Government wants to detain them. http://www.nyed.uscourts.gov.pub/rulings/cv/2002/02cv2307mo-f.pdf
