Two years ago, police officer, Adrean Schoolcraft in Brooklyn’s 81st precinct,
in Bedford Stuyvesant became gravely concerned about how the public was
being served. To document his concerns, be began carrying around a digital
sound recorder, secretly recording his colleagues and superiors. Graham
Rayman, staff writer for the Village Voice reports on the NYPD officer who
was told to distort crime statistics and what the revelations in his series has
