As a New Yorker I'm PROUD that the NYC city council recently voted to divest from fossil fuels.

Join us as we celebrate this success and, more importantly, take it to the next level - ALBANY - with some great live music, a few drinks, and much-deserved comraderie at our Earth Day benefit concert, April 14, at the legendary Nuyorican Poets Cafe. Proceeds from our concert will go directly to Sane Energy Project and the historic day of climate action taking place in Albany on April 23: #CuomoWalkTheTalk - the largest climate march to the state capital ever, in which thousands of New Yorkers will demand that Mr. Cuomo stick to his lofty words about climate action and, specifically, REJECT ALL FOSSIL FUEL FRACKING INFRASTRUCTURE statewide. New York City took a great step by divesting. Now we turn to the STATE and we need YOUR help. Please join us -- your ticket will be well spent (and -- a lot of fun. Do you like Beyonce? Rianahh? A little Bruno Mars, perhaps... you DONT want to miss CAMECO.) See you there. Tickets/info:
