The Frustrated Journalist | It appears that once again the Dixie Chicks have exhibited public disapproval of the Bush administration and once again the media have answered by censoring them. This bodes ill for the future of free speech, at least what’s left of it in America. // © 2006, Sasha A. Rae, All Rights Reserved more... 1 Comments

Vincent F. | Our friends from Inclusive Democracy were going to have yet another demo in front of they Army Career Center in Paterson, and when they got their this past October 31, all were surprised that there was no longer an army 'Career' Center. That's right folks, you've read right. JVC | On Friday October 27, 2006 Brad Will, 36, a documentary filmmaker and reporter for the New York City Indymedia Center (nyc.indymedia.org), died of a gunshot to the chest after armed attackers opened fire on a barricade in the neighborhood of Santa Lucia El Camino, on the outskirts of Oaxaca, Mexico. The crowd threw rocks and shot pebbles from slingshots. The attackers fired live rounds from their pistols and rifles randomly. Brad was still alive, but he died
