Alex Kane | There was no seat left unfilled in the New School's Theresa Lang Auditorium Thursday night as around 250-300 people gathered to mark the release of Simon Critchley's new book, Infinitely Demanding: Ethics of Commitment, Politics of Resistance. In addition to hearing Simon Critchley speak, another big draw was Cornel West, the acclaimed professor, author and activist. The book's title provided the focus of the night's discussion as both Critchley and West spoke for about half an hour before taking questions from the audience.
