Grassroots 9/11 Truth Events

Jennifer Tierney | We are a group of New Yorkers who are demanding accountability for the 9/11 attacks, since we believe they gave Bush the power he abuses every day. However, the mainstream press plays into the Administration's hands by dismissing us all as "conspiracy theorists," even though we are a diverse group of people united by a desire to find out the full truth of what happened and how. Could you please give us some coverage? It is an unusual story, about a grassroots movement building from a growing skepticism among a public weary from war and fear-mongering. Please see the press release below for more information. Sincerely, NY 9/11 Truth more...  12 Comments

fred askew | (from the Open Newswire): On Tuesday I came across an anti-war activist standing on traffic signal pole in Astor Place. A sign attached to the pole read, "WAR?" and on his chest was written "All American." The "ONE WAY" signs were changed to read, "NO WAR." Apparently he stayed up there for almost two hours before the NYPD took him down. more...  22 Comments
