By Mike Whitney | There are no “accidents” in Middle East politics. This week’s assassination of Lebanese Industry Minister, Pierre Gemayel can only be understood in the context of the ongoing struggle between the competing political forces in the region. Waldemar Labusca | Advent is a time of beginning as crisis can be a time to pause and gain new perspectives and priorities. Liberation theology sees God in Christ and Christ in the suffering poor. We are called to be internationalistas, to create a new language and a new mathematics as Jesus taught. The world will be changed when people speak as Jesus spoke - in a way that scandalizes and attracts by its power. So Dietrich Bonhoeffer proclaimed from his prison cell. more... 1 CommentsPage 255 | Page 253
