Protest the RNC ... from the Comfort of Your Own Home

IMCista | While dozens of militant direct actions and marches are planned to protest the Republican Convention in New York, many others are planned that involve little or no effort at all. For the busy activist ... here's a select list:

Light Up the Sky: "On August 30, from dusk to dawn, all citizens who wish to end the Bush presidency can use light as our metaphor ... Those of us who live here in rooms with windows on the street can keep our lights on through the night. Imagine, it's 2 or 3 in the morning and our city is ablaze with a silent and overwhelming rebuke."

Shut it Down!: Encourages "all New Yorkers to call in sick on September 1st, 2004.  Take the day off.  Join a protest.  Volunteer.  Send a message."

Hang posters created by the RNC Poster Project from your window, or just make a donation.
