Pelosi, Hillary, and Lieberman: funded by Lockheed

Peacemaker | Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, and Joe Lieberman each received $10,000 in campaign contributions from neocon-linked weapons maker Lockheed-Martin's PAC (Political Action Committee) during the 2006 election cycle. Could this be one reason Pelosi and Hillary refuse to stand firmly for peace while Lieberman blatantly calls for even wider war?

Congress Can Stop the Iran Attack

Jorge Hirsch | "The United States will have instantly offered the world 535 new defendants for future war crimes tribunals. Nuclear weapons are a million times more powerful than conventional weapons. If 535 million people die in ensuing nuclear conflicts, each member of the 110th Congress will have 1 million human lives on his/her own personal account.

Saddam Hussein and Barzan Ibrahim al-Tikriti went to the gallows for a mere 148." more...  0 Comments

Memorial Day, War, and a Challenge

Michael Guyer | While Memorial Day should rightly be observed as a somber, respectful day to honor our country’s veterans, is should NOT be twisted and used to honor War, to glamorize War, to support War, as was the most recent case with Mr. Bush and company blatantly abusing Memorial Day by using it as a shield to both deflect criticism on our occupation of Iraq and to rally the American citizens once again behind the bogus notion of “spreading freedom and democracy” in the Middle East. more...  0 Comments
