He was ever present for Filipino-American issues like the anti-Marcos movement,the Oust Estrada campaign and the oust GMA movement. He always drew paralells with the brutal US-Marcos dictatorship and the atrocious El Salvador military dictatorship that existed at the same time.

Soozy Duncan | This week Ban Ki-Moon, Secretary-General of the United Nations, spoke at the unveiling of a memorial dedicated to journalists killed while reporting. The memorial is a 30 foot tall light sculpture located on the roof of the BBC Broadcasting House in central London. For a half hour each night, beginning in conjunction with the 10 o'clock evening news, the sculpture projects a beam of light one kilometer into the sky. AJLPP | Alliance-Philippines (AJLPP) learned today from media sources that Filipino bishops from the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) and the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference (ACBC) yesterday cautioned the Arroyo government on engaging in an all-out military offensive against the Muslim rebels and bandits in Mindanao, saying such action could have repercussions on the peace-building efforts of the inter-religious groups in the region.
