CISPES holiday party and NY Peoples' Consultation on Free Trade
(Consulta) victory celebration
Friday, 12/15, 6:30pm till ...

Come help CISPES bid farewell to our lovely office on 29th Street! It's your
last chance to see our mural before it is painted over forever. Help us
start the holiday season off the best way.

We will also be celebrating our victory in the latest round of trade talks (Colombia and
Peru trade agreements are dead), the re-election of Hugo Chavez and the
election of Rafael Correa in Ecuador, the death of the bloody dictator
Pinochet, and the approaching winter solstice.

When: Friday, 12/15, 6:30pm till ...
Where: 130 West 29th Street 9th floor (buzzer 9F), Manhattan

Music! Drinks! Mural-gazing!

Celebrate our move toward sustainability as the national office escapes the
Manhattan Madness and retreats into Brooklyn... This office has been used
well and supported lots of incredible organizing for the last 5 years, both
on a local and national level. The NY People's Referendum on Free Trade was
born in this space, and over the years it has also been home to groups like
Global Sweatshop Coalition, Wetlands Preserve, Grassroots Haiti, in addition
to the NYCISPES and the CISPES national office.
Bring your friends, stop by after work or on your way somewhere else, or
hang out with us into the night and toast to a future of more affordable
rent!
